I really liked how it was a hectic year in Hogwarts after Voldemort had returned to life. It was a critical year for Harry as he had to do his O.W.L.s, and this would therefore determine his academic achievements in his future years.

The title is based on a group of wizards, including Albus Dumbledore, the headteacher of Hogwarts, assembled to defeat Voldemort. Harry forms a secret Defence Against the Dark Arts group to learn curses and spells so they can learn the subject themselves. The Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher is a Ministry of Magic Employee and is determined to not make them learn the Defence Against the Dark Arts, as the Ministry of Magic is convinced Albus Dumbledore is building an army against them.

I really liked the part where Harry has to learn to close his mind against Lord Voldemort. This book is for people aged over 9 years, as it contains some sinister characters and the plot is evil and twisted, so I highly recommend it only for people aged 9 plus.

Thank you for reading my book review! I hope you found this useful.
